WATER, SANITATION, AND HYGIENE (WASH)
United Action for Human Development Organization (UAHD) is committed to promoting safe water, sanitation, and hygiene practices, especially in times of crisis. In response to the emergency needs of flood-affected Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Union Council Ahmed Pur, Taluka and District Jacobabad, UAHD stepped in to provide critical humanitarian assistance.
As part of our emergency response:
- 10 pit latrines were installed to ensure access to safe and dignified sanitation facilities.
- Non-Food Item (NFI) kits were distributed to 10 vulnerable families, providing essential household supplies to support their basic needs.
- Safe and potable drinking water was delivered through water tinkering services, ensuring clean water access for affected communities.
This support was made possible through self-collected resources and the generous spirit of philanthropy. These efforts reflect UAHD’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations during emergencies and ensuring access to basic WASH services that uphold health, dignity, and human rights.
